MOVING AROUND A SCREEN OR TO ANOTHER SCREEN
The design and construction of hypertext networks
heavily emphasizes browsing interfaces which enable the
hypertext user to quickly "jump" to desired
information. However, the user needs to be able to
control the screen or page in order to effectively
access the system. The following commands will enable
you to rapidly move to another screen within a file:
PGDN - Displays next screen
PGUP - Displays previous screen
HOME - Displays first screen of file
END - Displays last screen of file
You have the option of returning to the title screen of
this system from any file in the network with the
following command:
CTRL and HOME (press simultaneously)
This is especially useful to know if you become "lost"
in hypertext!
The following commands will enable you to move through
or within a screen using the plus (+) and minus (-)
near the numerical keypad:
PLUS (+) Moves a highlight bar down, then scrolls screen forwards
MINUS (-) Moves a highlight bar up, then scrolls screen backwards
The plus (+) and minus (-) keys control forward and
backward line scroll in files containing multiple
screens.
